This 4N/5D covers Leh + Nubra Valley + Pangong Lake with 2N Leh, 1N Nubra, 1N Pangong. Day 1 arrival Leh with acclimatization and local sights. Day 2 cross Khardung La 17,982 ft to Nubra Valley, visit Deskit Monastery, Hunder sand dunes, double-humped camel ride. Day 3 drive via Shyok River road to Pangong Tso 14,270 ft. Day 4 sunrise at Pangong, return to Leh via Chang La 17,590 ft, visit Thiksey & Shey. Day 5 fly out. This route avoids backtracking and works better for altitude than doing Pangong as a day trip. Best months: Mid-May to Sep. Shyok road can close due to flooding Jul-Aug. Oct-Apr most camps at Pangong shut and passes have heavy snow.

Day 01: Leh Airport Pickup (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx.)

Arrive at Leh airport, meet and greet by our representative and transfer to your reserved accommodation. Check in to the hotel and get proper rest to acclimatize. Later, in the evening visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. O/N : Leh.

Day 02: Leh - Nubra Valley (128 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx)

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival check in to the hotel/camp/guest house. Post lunch, enjoy camel safari (double humped camel which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hunder Village. O/N : Nubra Valley

Day 03: Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok river road (150 Kms | 6-7 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive for 6 – 7 hrs. Arrival at Camp, later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N : Pangong Lake.

Day 04: Pangong Lake – Leh (140 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)

Early morning, enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh, en route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. O/N : Leh

Day 05: Leh Airport Drop (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx.)

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey Ends.
