“Trans Himalayan Jeep Safari” means you drive Manali to Leh over 2 days, then do full Ladakh. You get 1N Jispa, 4N Leh, 2N Nubra, 1N Pangong. Day 1 Manali to Jispa via Rohtang Pass 13,050 ft + Atal Tunnel option, Lahaul valley, Sissu, Keylong. Day 2 Jispa to Leh – 335 km, 10-11 hrs crossing Baralacha La 16,040 ft, Nakee La 15,547 ft, Lachung La 16,616 ft, More Plains 42 km, Tanglang La 17,480 ft. This is the toughest road day in India. Day 3 Sham Valley acclimatization. Day 4 Khardung La 17,982 ft to Nubra. Day 5 Turtuk + Thang border. Day 6 Nubra to Pangong via Shyok. Day 7 Pangong to Leh via Chang La. Day 8 Leh local + Hall of Fame. Day 9 fly out.Key advantage: You see Lahaul + Ladakh + cross 6 high passes. Better acclimatization than flying to Leh because you gain altitude over 2 days: Manali 6,726 → Jispa 10,500 → Leh 11,500 ft. Best months: Jun 15 - Sep 30 only. Manali-Leh Highway opens mid-June, closes Oct.

Day 01: Manali – Jispa (139 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx.)

Early morning Leave for Jispa, cross through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) enter the Lahaul Valley, visit Raja Gyepan temple at Sissu Village, lunch at Keylong post lunch drive to Jispa. O/N : Jispa.

Day 02: Jispa to Leh (335 Kms |10-11 hrs approx.)

Early morning after breakfast leave for Leh, one the way cross Baralacha Pass (16020 ft, Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft.) a beautiful high altitude drive to be remembered for life time, Post Lunch continue drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft, one of the highest motorable road in the world, reach Upshi where you drive along with Indus river. O/N : Leh.

Day 03: Leh - Sham Valley - Leh (140 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx.)

After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Sham Valley, visit Likir, Alchi Monastery, Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. O/N : Leh.

Day 04: Leh - Nubra Valley (128 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival check in to the hotel/camp/guest house. Post lunch, enjoy camel safari (double humped camel which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N : Nubra Valley

Day 05: Hunder -Turtuk- Thang– Hunder (190Kms |6-7 hrs approx.)

After breakfast drive to Thang (the last village of India on India-Pakistan border) this village was captured by Indian Army in the war of 1971 from Pakistan, enroute visit Turtuk and Tyakshi. O/N :Nubra Valley.

Day 06: Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok river road (150 Kms | 6-7 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N : Pangong Lake.

Day 07: Pangong Lake – Leh (140 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)

Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh, en route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. O/N : Leh.

Day 08: Leh

After breakfast visit the Leh Palace ,Shanti Stupa and Leh Market. Later afternoon free for shopping and evening visit to Hall of Fame Museum. O/N : Leh.

Day 09: Leh Airport Drop (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx.)

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey Ends.
