“Moonland Drive” starts in Leh, ends in Manali – reverse of the classic Manali-Leh route. You get 2N Leh, 1N Sham, 2N Nubra, 1N Pangong, 1N Tso Moriri, 1N Jispa. The highlights: Lamayuru “Moonland”, Siachen Base Camp via Panamik hot springs, Pangong Tso, Tso Moriri via Chushul-Tsaga La, then exit to Manali via Tso Kar, More Plains, Baralacha La 16,040 ft, Jispa, Rohtang Pass 13,050 ft. Key point: This is 9D/8N with 3 extreme days – Day 5 to Siachen Base, Day 7 Pangong-Tso Moriri via Chushul, Day 8 Tso Moriri-Jispa crossing 4 passes in 340 km. Difficulty 10/10. Day 01: Leh Airport Pickup (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx.)

Arrive at Leh airport, meet and greet by our representative and transfer to your reserved accommodation. Check in to the hotel and get proper rest to acclimatize. Later, in the evening visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. O/N : Leh.

Day 02: Leh – Sham valley (170 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx.)

After breakfast drive to Lamayuru on the way visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (confluence of Zanskar & Indus river) and Liker Monastery. Lunch en route, post lunch drive to visit the mesmerizing moon like landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery O/N : Sham

Day 03: Sham – Leh (70 Kms | 3-4 hrs approx.)

After the Breakfast drive to Leh en route visit Alchi monastery and Hall of Fame. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. O/N : Leh

Day 04: Leh - Nubra Valley (128 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). You can take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic points for photography. On arrival check in to the hotel/camp/guest house. Post lunch, enjoy camel safari (double humped camel which are found only in Ladakh & Mongolia) at the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra : Valley

Day 05: Hunder to Siachen Base Camp to Sumur (220 Kms | 7-8 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast drive to Siachen Base Camp enroute visit Hot spring at Panamik, Yarabtso and Samstanling monastery. O/N : Sumur.

Day 06: Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok river road (150 Kms | 6-7 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N : Pangong Lake.

Day 07: Pangong Lake to Tsomoriri Lake (200 Kms | 6 - 7 hrs approx.)

In the morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri Lake via Chushul and Tsaga la. Arrival at Korzok village by evening. O/N : Korzok.

Day 08: Tsomoriri – Tsokar – Sarchu – Jispa (340 Kms | 9-10 hrs approx.)

Early morning take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty, watch the shades of green and blue mix together as the rolling grass lands surround the lake. Later leave for Jispa on the way cross Puga (Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, Skyangchu Thang – Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms, Enjoy your lunch at Pang, post lunch leave for Jispa, cross Nakeela, Lachung La & Baralacha La (4845m) arrival at Jispa by evening. O/N : Jispa.

Day 09: Jispa – Manali (139 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx.)

After breakfast drive for Manali, a beautiful scenic drive through Lahaul Valley along with Bhaga & Chandra River, later cross Rohtang Pass, 13050 ft. Arrive Manali by noon. Journey ends here.
