Itinerary
Expand all1st Day : Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok - Pickup
Meet and Greet on arrival at Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok. On arrival check-in to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok
2nd Day : Gangtok to Lachung - Drive with on the way Sightseeing
After breakfast check out from the hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,738 Ft.) in North Sikkim. On the way, enjoy some beautiful spots. On arrival at Lachung, check into your hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.
Note: Travelers planning to visit such remote regions should be prepared for a more rustic and basic experience, with a focus on simplicity and cleanliness rather than luxury amenities. Even the best hotels are equivalent to basic 3* here. It's essential for guests to manage their expectations and plan accordingly, taking into account the specific conditions and limitations of this area. Also note that Innova/Crysta vehicles are not suitable for North Sikkim due Low ground clearance. We recommend opting for SUVs like Scorpio / Xylo/ Similar for a safe and comfortable journey.
3rd Day : Lachung - Yumthang Valley Excursion
After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley, which is known as Valley of Flowers (12,000 ft.). Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis. Back to the hotel in the afternoon. After lunch free for individual activities, Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachung.
Note: Due to the winter season (heavy snow) vehicles will be able to drive till Snow point on the way to Yumthang Valley.
4th Day : Lachung to Gangtok - Transfer
After breakfast, transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
5th Day : Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir - Excursion
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing. Due to the winter season (heavy snow) vehicles will be able to drive till Snow point on the way to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir.
6th Day : Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport - Drop
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and take the departure transfer to Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
